SET Therapists
All SET Therapists listed on this site have graduated from our 1 year (formerly 2 year) intensive SET Training program and have given us permission to publish their information. There are several other SET graduates who are not listed here because they have not sent us their information. If you don’t find a therapist listed in your area, please call our office to see if we have anyone trained in your area – 813-949-2245.
If there is no one in your area, we suggest that you speak to your local massage therapists about this work, ask them to visit our website, and encourage them to become trained in this therapy. Description of Graduate Categories
Certified SET Trainer (CSETT) – Massage therapists who successfully complete the 1 year SET Training class, complete the Certified SET Therapist certification process by submitting the required documentation for approval by Don McCann, and meet the qualifications for becoming certified as an instructor of the SET techniques. Certified SET Therapist (CSET) – Massage therapists who successfully complete the 1 year SET Training class and complete the certification process by submitting the required documentation for approval by Don McCann.
SET Graduates (SET) – Massage therapists who successfully complete the 1 year SET Training class. However, they have NOT completed the certification process by submitting the required documentation for approval by Don McCann. NOTE: all therapists who graduate from the 1 year SET Training are highly trained in these techniques, even if they have not gone through the Certification process.
SET Practitioner – Massage therapists around the country who are attending the 1 year SET Training classes, but who have not yet graduated. Once they have completed Phase I of the training they are able to effectively begin treating clients. Please contact us at 813-949-2245 if you would like the names of these therapists.
Certified Carpal Tunnel Therapists – NOTE: All Certified SET Therapists and SET Graduates receive advanced training in Carpal Tunnel and Nerve Entrapment Techniques. Therapists listed under this category may NOT have completed the 1 year SET Training, but have taken the two classes for Carpal Tunnel Certification For a listing of these therapists who are specifically trained and certified in Carpal Tunnel and Nerve Entrapment techniques, please go to Certified Carpal Tunnel Therapist page. **PLEASE NOTE**: We are no longer offering this separate certification - all SET Training graduates who have completed the 1 year training are trained in the advanced Carpal Tunnel techniques as part of the SET Training.
Children's Cranial/Structural Therapist for children 7-13 - SET Therapists who have completed the 1 year (formerly 2 year) intensive training program and have taken advanced training with Don McCann in applying the Cranial/Structural techniques on children ages 7-13 years old. This is a specialized training for treating children within this age range.
